Bondage Divas

www.bondagedivas.com is the domain of Vesta, a blonde bondage bombshell with a wealth of bondage experience! The site is owned and maintained by Nefarious Productions, which is a company that was set up by Vesta herself, with Genesis Lynn of www.surrenderedsoul.com. They are located in the USA, 40 miles outside of New York city. The Bondage Divas website itself has been online since February 2000.

Nefarious Productions has also hosted the bondage convention, Bond Con NYC, for the last two years. The website for the 2003 convention can be found at www.bondconnyc.com.

Explanatory note: In the USA there are two distinct bondage conventions called "Bond Con". Vesta tells me the one hosted by Nefarious Productions has been going longer, and is now called "Bond Con NYC" to distinguish it from the other "Bond Con". NYC means "New York City".

BondageDivas is primarily a bondage website (as opposed to a BDSM website). It sells bondage videos and gives members online access to approximately 10,000 unique bondage images at the time of writing this review (August 2002).

bondage pictures

The majority of pictures show scantily clothed women in bondage, although some pictures display nudity (including some samples shown here), and fairly mild SM type activity such as spanking and "threatening" with a crop. One of the samples shown here shows Vesta with a very red bum, as can only happen as a result of a good spanking! I even found some images showing the insertion of objects into a lady's most private area (gosh)! However, the majority of the pictures show clothed women, bound with ropes or scarves. Bondage models wearing tights (ie pantihose) are especially well represented.

The stringency of most of the bondage is what I would personally describe as mild to medium. This is not a site that revels in torture or discomfort, and only women in bondage are featured (ie no men).

The main bondage model is Vesta herself, and the Divas in question are some 90 or so different bondage models. Now that is a lot of bound women to find on one website! At the time of writing (August 2002) there are no ebony models, but you can see the infinitely lovely and naturally tanned AJ Khan ("AJ Khan do anything she likes to me"). There are some sample pictures of this overwhelmingly gorgeous beauty (my personal taste, anyhow) in the samples I have kindly been allowed to show (thumbs below, full size images in the Ebony-Bondage.org members area). Vesta also tells me she hopes to be working with ebony bondage model Chaos (see below) in the near future.

Many of the picture galleries show a fantasy story, typically in which one woman is overpowered and tied up by another (one of whom is often Vesta herself). So if this type of fantasy is your thing, you should consider joining this site.

The bondage photographs have a resolution of up to 800 x 600 pixels, and at least 100 new pictures are posted each week.

bondage videos

The public area includes a showcase for selling Nefarious Production bondage videos. Many of these videos are constructed around an abduction story line, in which a beautiful damsel is abducted, bound, and... well, you will have to buy the videos to find out! However you can see publicity material for these videos, and dowload a few sample clips, in the public area of the BondageDivas website.

I notice that Nefarious Productions has been working with Anthony Peters of www.dizdat.com (I will be doing a feature and review of dizdat.com here at Ebony-Bondage.org very shortly). Working together they have produced the bondage video, Chaos in Connecticut. In case you do not know, Chaos is a lovely ebony bondage model who features prominently at www.dizdat.com.

website design and usability

I think the site design is pleasing enough and straightforward. In my humble opinion there are a few navigational weaknesses that could be improved, but there are no navigation disasters either. From my own personal experience I know it is not easy to design good usability into website design, and there are a number of navigational issues I would like to improve at my own website (when it gets to the top of my priority list!)

The website has been constructed using standard HTML as far as my cursory examination revealed, so there should be no accessibility problems associated with any particular browsers. I have checked the site briefly using Opera 6, Netscape 4.7 and 6.2, and Internet Explorer 6 without encountering any difficulties.

Vesta and Nefarious Productions offer a custom picture and video service! Choices available are the custom photo set, the custom video, and the custom web-cam session. At the time of writing, the webcam is not yet online, although Vesta expects that it will be in the near future.
