ArtByBondage

www.artbybondage.com is filled with high quality photographs of women in bondage. The majority of the women are nude, and the two most distinctive features of this site are the high quality of the photographs, and the interesting variety of locations in which the women are bound.

photographer

The photographs are of a very high quality, both technically and artistically, and they are offered to members at a very generous 800 pixels along the longest side (for comparison my "high" size pictures at Ebony Bondage are up to 850 pixels high, and my "medium" size pictures are up to 600 pixels high). A number of free samples are available in the public area, so visitors can examine the quality of the pictures before deciding if they want to become members.

ArtByBondage has a "sister" site, which is devoted to "Nude Figure Studies of Sportswomen", and is called Art-Foto. I can highly recommend this site to anyone who has a penchant looking at nude female athletes and bodybuilders! Yummy!

bondage

ArtByBondage is a bondage website rather than a BDSM website. The women here are depicted in consensual bondage, and in the vast majority of the pictures (maybe in all the pictures?) the women are nude, and usually shaven. There is very little depiction of pain per se, although clearly some of the bondage positions cause discomfort and stress. There are also lots of pictures in which the women are gagged.

I find these bondage pictures very erotic. I think the photographer has a knack of showing women in ways that emphasise the erotic appeal of their bodies. Some bondage purists may be upset because some of the bondage looks as if it could be escaped from (although this is not always the case). Indeed, I usually like to see inescapable bondage myself, because the helplessness of the women is exciting. However I do not find this to be a problem with these particular pictures, somewhat to my own surprise! Somehow the photographer manages to compose his pictures so well, that complete physical helplessness of the women seems unnecessary.

The women in bondage are all attractive ladies with good figures. If you like the samples he has provided, you will find a great deal more to interest you at ArtByBondage. Certainly the photographer and webmaster has a penchant for athletic and muscular ladies with nice legs. I think this is demonstrated by his other site, Art-Foto, that shows nude figure studies of sportswomen.

distinctive locations

A distinctive feature of ArtByBondage is the use of unusual locations. Although there are plenty of studio shots, a large number of shoots take place out of doors, in the countryside, in deserted buildings, or in other public places. This increases the variety nicely, and I think out of doors bondage has a special appeal. I am hoping to do more of this myself when (if) the summer comes along :o)

website design

ArtByBondage is very clearly presented. and site navigation is good. Pictures in the members area are classified according to the bondage model, and the area for each model is accessed directly from the members' index page. All galleries are thumbnailed, and the size and quality of the thumbnails makes browsing this website a pleasure. If you imagine a web page that is presented like the black table below, you will have a good idea of what it is like to browse the ArtByBondage photo galleries.

bondage video clips

Video clips are available for downloading in MPEG format. The samples I have watched are of high quality, and in a similar style to the still pictures. The women look stunning, completely nude except for high heels, struggling in their nakedness. Very nice!
